Day 1 (Fri)- Coriander shoots appear at last
Day 2 (Sat) -Sowed camomile seeds in a pot inside on east-facing, ground floor window sill and just scattered them on garden. Avoided watering on south-facing, upstairs tray as still moist. Coriander seems a bit yellow so a quick spray of the fungicide.
Finally, signs of sprouting externally - two of the marigolds in the mini-greenhouse.
Day 3 (Sun) -Took the tops off the cups from the sprouted dahlias on upstairs sill. Was given some alpine strawberries, strawberries, violets and something blue in pots and punnets from kind lady - straight in garden with added soil but in the punnets as don't yet know what plans are for the garden.
Day 4: (Mon) - Quick but selective spraying of all indoor plants.
Day 5: (Tue) - Rained so garden watered (and hopefully the flung wildflower seeds) - watered mini-greenhouse.
Mushroom spawn arrived - re-read section on preparing something for the spawn to grow on.
Day 6: (Wed) - Finally, finally, the first signs of the chinese lanterns on the east-facing window sill
Day 7: (Thu) - Finally, finally, the first signs of the arrowroot on the east-facing sill- time for misting with camomile and garlic spray that is so stinky it needs to be outdoors.
The chinese lanterns seem to be growing quicker by the end of the day
Musings
The panic about what to do next is beginning to set in now that the sprouting seeds seem to be doing well - only one dahlia has the second set of leaves showing so may need to move to a pot soon.
Dahlias seem to have sprouted well, as have marigolds.
The rocket, pot marigold, coriander (cilantro) and dadlias on the kitchen window sill (east facing, ground floor) seem to be looking good (and have been sprayed with camomile and garlic spray to stem fungicide)
